S-Lon Fire is a micro fused, braided bead thread consisting of a gel-spun polyethylene. It has an unbelievably high tensile strength and has been recommended for various bead weaving and jewelry making projects. Tie a knot to finish your project and burn the end. A small ball will form on the melted end, preventing the knot from untying.
